Description

Part of the “Walking in 2020” Series this is a cool scene of a forest track lined with bare trees and bracken in cool, winter tones. Based on a walk in the Alderholt/Verwood Forest area and adapted from pen and watercolour sketches in my sketchbook, date and weather stats for the day of the walk are included.

As well as a snapshot of place and time, all the pieces in the series aim to capture a sense of hope and positivity that comes from taking in the local surroundings whilst exploring on foot.
