Dorset Button Forget-me-not Pendant on a chain
I love the combination of textiles with silver and started to make these lovely pendants.
This particular pendant is worked on a 38mm ring using the colours of a Forget-me-not flower. The pattern is based on the Cartwheel design.
Please Note: I have tried to match the colour but your monitor may be set to show a slightly different shade.
The necklace is 40cm long (please see image). I measure everything myself with an old ruler so please allow a small bit of discrepancy.
To save on postage I will post this unboxed but if you would like me to send it in a box please contact me for additional postage and packing costs and how to pay.
The Dorset Buttons Industry originated in Shaftesbury in the 1620s and became major cottage industry throughout Dorset creating employment for many families. By the 1780s 4,000 women and children were employed in the industry. Dorset Buttons were replaced by machine buttons during the first half of the 1800s.
